I love this man.
I loved watching Consuming Passions when I was younger, but I had completely forgot about it until hearing about Ian Parmenter's passing last month. I just made my first Consuming Passions dish - this one - and it was delicious. Paired with an Australian red, of course. Thank you, Ian, for sharing your infectious passion for simple, good food
The original bakery version looked better than this slop heap.
Fresh Bread ❤❤ Red wine ❤❤❤❤
One of the best cooking shows ever on Aunty. RIP to a absolutely talented man and ty for the shows. Cheers.
I just heard of Ian's death. The ending of this episode etched in my consciousness for decades. Had to come back. Although I neve knew you, the world is less from your passing.
Looks Delicious! RIP Peter.

RIP Dear Ian
😭😭😭 nooo i just found out about this brilliant, charming fellow
Does anyone have his recipe of pork chops with apricots, white wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic and ginger - I lost it when a few boxes of things went missing during an interstate move Then searched via google to see if I could buy it in one of his books. It was very expensive but I bought it. It didn’t have the same recipe - even though it said on google that it was in that book! My husband loves this dish and I’d like to make it for him again!
RIP dear Sir!!!
